Mandi Larsen, MPH

Mandi Larsen is currently pursuing her Ph.D. at the Bremen International Graduate School of Social Sciences, an inter-university institute of the University of Bremen and Jacobs University in German, where she is examining the impact of social and health policy on the health outcomes of intimate partner violence victims in the United States, Germany, and Norway.

Prior to her doctoral work, she conducted qualitative research on health and intimate partner violence at the University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf, with support from a German Chancellor Fellowship. Before Germany, Mandi spent several years conducting program evaluation in New York City and also served on the Research Advisory Committee of the New York City Alliance Against Sexual Assault. She has also worked with reproductive and sexual health programs in the United States, Uganda, and Sierra Leone.

Mandi earned her Master of Public Health degree from Columbia University and her undergraduate degrees in Psychology and Sociology from Seattle Pacific University.
